I absolutely love this series! The books are gorgeous! They are soo much more beautiful in person than in pictures! Im sooo happy I ordered these!

Can't put these books down and I hope there are more to come e.

First, I want to shout this out loud that I knew it! I knew that the one who got Callie pregnant is Foster! LOL, Piper and Rayne left us, readers, hanging for a while after The Hotshot for who got Callie pregnant but I sensed it was to be Foster because of their chemistry.

Second, girls, this book is a must read if you love a tattooed grumpy bad boy pitcher slowly falling love with his best friend's sister who he had one-night-stand with and got her pregnant!

I've never thought I would see Foster in this new light. Oh, I knew that he would come with his big package. But I've never thought he would be this much swooning protective hero.

“It’s always the ones who look rough who have the kindest hearts, I think..." I have to agree with a lady who Callie met in the grocery store because Foster is just like that but he had never known himself... yet.

And I adore Callie. Usually she isn't the kind of heroines I like much but I like her. If Foster is a grumpy one, Callie is an opposite. Actually they're opposite in everything but they're perfect for each other.

The story has all of Piper and Rayne's charms but is quite different from The Hotshot. Foster and Callie's love story begins with how swooning Foster is after Callie told him about her pregnancy. Speaking of, I don't know why and how Callie got an idea to tell Foster like that. It was sweet but hilarious at the same time because they didn't know each other much at that time. Then they showed us how close Foster and Hayes who is Callie's brother are. And I like their relationship plus Easton and Decker as well. When it comes to these crews, I feel like I smile or giggle a lot. After that, Foster got flight and I cried for Callie. She put herself out there but Foster had his issues that he had to face with first. And finally, a real thread appeared, I felt a little bit anxious with this one because my heart just healed from their relationship but I thought it's necessary to mention because someone might get curious. This way, everyone is happy and can move on. With everything happened in this book, I felt hangover after I finished reading it. But it's so good that I think this is the longest review I wrote ;)

The Wild Card is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and proves that hot baseball players can hold their own when it comes to sports romance stories! This multicast narrated story brings in so many of my favorite voices to give life to Foster and Callie as they navigate their new coparenting life style and their new relationship through Callie’s surprise pregnancy. They also each bring their own baggage to the table and watching them deal with it all only made me fall for them more as it brought them closer as they start their new life together.

Callie & Foster are here! These two have my heart. The vulnerabilities my sweet Foster showed, and the way he wanted to be better, not only for himself, but her and their baby, melted my heart. I loved the way they just showed up for each other. You will feel their connection through every interaction.
The bookstore scene was hilarious. It was such a fun surprise in the story and one of my favorite parts. I know we're only on book 2, but I'm calling it now that The Wild Card will be a stand out for me. The full cast narration, with Erin Mallon & Sean Masters as Callie and Foster was outstanding. I felt all the things listening to The Wild Card in audio.

Let me tell you, I am so into an emotionally unavailable MMC. I don't know what it is about a surly man.....but there you go. Foster Davis? He's about as emotionally shut off as he could be. And I loved that.

At the end of The Hotshot, we knew that Callie was pregnant, but we didn't know WHICH of the 3 single Colts players is the baby daddy. We all had guesses, of course, but I am certainly not mad at all that it was Foster. Gah, the chemistry between Callie and Foster is unmatched!!

Foster is absolutely ALL IN when he finds out he's going to be a father, which is so adorably sweet considering his upbringing. Now if only he could allow himself to be loved....

I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! Piper Rayne does sports romances like no one else. And the bookstore scene? I was CACKLING.

This story deserves way more than 5 stars. Just brilliant!!!

This bundle is so beautiful!!! I loved getting this bundle!! The extra stickers was so amazing!! The first two books in the series corners was bent but that was on the mailmen so no fault to Piper Rayne they tried to protect them. But overall I am so happy with this bundle!! They are so beautiful!!!

This is the second book in this series. Callie and Foster have a one night stand. She finds out that she's pregnant. The problem is that she's the sister of one of Foster's closest teammates. Foster is known as a bad boy and not known for his relationships. He always leaves before the other person can leave. When he finds out that he's going to be a father, he wants to stay in his child's life and try to have a relationship with Callie. He moves her into his apartment so she can be safer and he can help take care of her. Then he has a fear of Callie leaving and pushes her away. She does leave and moves in with her brother. I like how the team supports Foster - even his estranged twin. The girlfriends and wives of the team give Callie a lot of support and advice. I really like this series and I'm looking forward to the next book.

I love me a broody man and Foster hits all my expectations! I thought I loved Hayes’s book but this one is my favorite. Broody and blue eyes. I love Callie and Foster’s book which is a baby daddy to friends , well you have to read it to find out.

*The Wild Card* is the second book in *The Dugout* series, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it! Narrated by Sean Masters and Erin Mallon, this story features Callie and Foster, and their dynamic is simply perfect. I loved how Foster surprised Callie with his commitment to co-parenting, showing how protective he truly is once he learns the whole story.

Foster is known as the bad boy of baseball, but there’s so much more beneath the surface. He’s a complicated character who struggles with trust and often feels misunderstood. When he finally opens up, we see his vulnerable side, which makes the fear of getting hurt in love all the more relatable.

Callie, too, learns to let her guard down with Foster, and it’s heartwarming to see them support each other through their pasts as they look forward to a brighter future together. Erin Mallon and Sean Masters are fantastic in their narration, bringing Callie and Foster’s relationship to life with a fun mix of depth and witty banter. Erin’s sultry voice really highlights Callie’s sassy, independent spirit, while Sean’s deep, gruff tone perfectly captures Foster’s bad-boy charm.

Piper Rayne has a knack for creating characters who feel so relatable, and I found myself invested in their emotional journeys toward happy endings. Plus, the side characters add even more warmth to the story, making it feel like a big, supportive family. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book in the series!
