Very much enjoyed the banter between the couple. Kept the story interesting. Piper Rayne does a fantastic job with the story and the narrators were spot on! Brought them to life - great job!
Romey Owens fan girls over country music star Zander Shaw big time so when she get a chance to go to a concert with her cousins, she is beyond excited. And when Zander Shaw's people get her from the audience to meet with Zander back stage, she jumps at the chance. But after meeting up with him three separate times, Romey is turned away by Zander's security when she goes back a fourth time. No explanation. And yeah, she's hurt.
Romey goes back to her life on the Plain Daisy Ranch with family and all of her cousins. They have a business run. But soon Romey finds out that she is going to have a keepsake of the time she spent with Zander.
When the man himself shows up at her family’s ranch with his entourage to film a music video, she's forced to spend time with the man who ghosted her. And she also has to figure out how to tell him he's going to have a new fan.
I loved this book, just like I loved all of the stories in the Plain Daisy series. I love the family and how they all pull together for one another. There are light-hearted moments as well as times that twist your heart. I also listened to the audio of the book. Sean Masters and Holly Warren do a great job with this duet style narration.
I received an ARC for this book. I lovedthis book! Romy and Zander were just a great couple. In past books, I thought Romy would be immature. She is very mature and level headed. I love how she balances Zander. Zander has a lot of demons to work out. He just finally found the right woman that wouldn't let him get away. This book is just amazing!
Amazing audio. Holly Warren and Sean Masters are the best voices for these characters. They were very engaging.
