If you love single dads and second chance love stories look no further than professional hockey player Henry Hensley, his 3 year old son Bodhi and the girl he pushed away Jade’s entertaining, witty and swoon worthy journey ….you won’t be disappointed.
I knew this was a special book from moment I started it but it was only when the characters and their story was still with long long after the final words did I realise just how special it really was.
JF Harding and Brooke Bloomingdale did an amazing job with the narration but once you add in performances from Sean Masters, Connor Crais, Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton & CJ Bloom you got the perfect audio book. They were spot on with the chemistry, the passion and the banter.
I fell hard and fast for Henry and my heart skipped some beats as I saw the love he had for his adopted 3 year old little boy Bodhi. I want Jade as my bestie and adored watching this couple relieve what they shared as teenagers but it was Bodhi who stole my heart with the love he his for his daddy and the friends that live in The Nest apartments. He also has some classic one liners only a child can deliver.
If ever a book deserved more than 5 stars this is it because this well written story has something for everyone from the wonderful characters to the chemistry to the witty banter you can be sure you will be left smiling. I highly recommend you one click this gem.
