Mr. Charming is the fourth book in The Nest Series.
This is the highly anticipated love story of Tweetie. Throughout the whole series, there were hints about Tweetie, Tedi and their failed relationship. As Tweetie’s close friends and fellow teammates begin to fall in relationships; he begins to question the what ifs. I loved their flashbacks of their previous relationship which lead to all the angsty chemistry between Tedi and Tweetie. The second chance romance was the perfect ending to this fantastic series. I highly recommend it! 5 stars!
Great audible. Loved the voices for Tweety and Tedi. Christine Larkin has such a great voice. It is so easy to listen to. Troy Duran is exactly what I thought when I think of Tweety. The two of them were perfect. I loved having the whole cast as well. Loved the whole narration!
I received an ARC for this book. Finally, Tedi and Tweety's book! It was everything I expected and more! Tedi tries to fight the attraction to Tweety, but they were just meant to be together. I just love Tweety. He has so many demons, and I loved how Tedi helped conquer them. It's such a great love story. I loved seeing the Florida Fury guys and girls, too. It was such a great ending to the series!
Piper Rayne worked their magic and crafted something very special when they created this series and there is so much that makes it so special, starting with the fabulous characters and their storylines. This fourth book of the series is Tweetie and Tedi’s story, a wonderful second chance romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. I would like to say they saved the best book and character for last, but that would not be fair to the first three books, which are just as amazing and not to be missed. I have been looking forward to Tweetie’s story and learning more about him, and he has had his share of heartbreaks and disappointments in his past, including the one that got away, the only women he loved, Tedi. Tedi moved on after her breakup with Tweetie, living in a different city and working her dream job, a job that brings her back into Tweetie’s life and world again. Becoming the social media manager for the Falcons is a great opportunity, but seeing and having to work with Tweetie is going to be a challenge. To prevent her from slipping into his arms again, or him getting any ideas, she had a plan, having someone act as her boyfriend and she knew just the guy to ask, her brother’s friend Decker, who plays ball for the Chicago Colts. It was great to watch Tweetie and Tedi dance around each other, each fighting how they really feel about the other and going head to head. I loved the complexity of these characters, their relationship and the glimpses into their past to see how they got to where they were in the present. There is never a dull moment in this book and the story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, witty dialogue and humor, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful second chance romance. It was great seeing the rest of the gang and how far they all have come in their lives and relationships. The ending was awesome, and the series may be over, but with every ending there is a new beginning, and there won’t be empty nests for long and Ruby won’t be an empty nester for long either. Piper Rayne, thank you for the exceptional story, series, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the exceptional multi-cast performance and production, led by Troy Duran and Christine Lakin covering the two lead characters, Tweetie and Tedi and jumping in reprising their roles from earlier books are JF Harding, Connor Crais, Sean Masters, Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom. An incredible duet-style performance that keeps you glued to the story and takes the already amazing story to another level. Each voice artist grasped their character’s personality and demeanor perfectly, as well as their every emotion, making you feel them all. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
Mr Charming is Tweetie Sorenson and Tedi’s second chance love story and it’s the book four in The Nest Series. I was drawn into this book from the first chapter and I loved going back to the journals both Tedi and Tweetie kept durning their time together.
Troy Duran and Christine Larkin did a great job bringing the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with the banter, the passion and the drama and once you add Sean Masters, Connor Crais, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton & CJ Bloom to the audio it became an entertaining and enjoyable listen.
Tweetie had vowed never to get married and he walked away from Tedi without explaining why but now they find themselves back working for the same team and once again fighting the attraction. So will Tedi risk her heart again………..
I fell hard and fast for Tweetie and I adored Tedi but the camaraderie this team and their partners share took this book to another level.
Fun! Fun! Fun! Piper Rayne could not have given Tweetie and Tedi a better story! These two have a history and now it's years later when they finally see each other again. Heartbroken at the time, the chemistry is still so strong, Tedi is doing her best to keep her distance. But will her shenanigans be enough? From the journal entries giving me the feels of the past and present to secret redezvous, this romance was filled with high emotion and explosive attraction. The fun of all the previous nest characters adds in the advice and banter that only true friends have. This is a fantastic listen and made my weekend happy.
Troy Duran is Tweetie, and his voice is like butter. Each scene is swoony, filled with emotion and his voice went straight to my heart. Christine Lakin is Tedi, and she plays the frustrated, impossibly in love woman with each feel being real. I loved these two together, and adding in the reprisal of the others by Connor Crais, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton, Sean Masters and CJ Bloom, the story was like hanging out with old friends. Amazing narration and enjoyable performances.
