Returning to Plain Daisy Ranch is always such a pleasure! Chasing Love was such a great addition to this series!
Delaney has come back home to Willowbrook following the arrest of her soon-to-be ex husband. She has her seven year old daughter in tow and they are currently living with her parents as she figures out next steps. She ends up working for her best friend Poppy at the flower shop which also puts her in close proximity to her childhood sweetheart, Bennett. Delaney has a secret that she is harboring and it will definitely affect life moving forward.
Bennett too is a single parent following the loss of his wife. He has a seven year old daughter that he absolutely adores. Bennett's daughter and Delaney's daughter become best friends and inseparable almost immediately. While Delaney has a secret, Bennett does as well.
Delaney and Bennett are forced to deal with how they feel being near one another again and it's obvious that their connection and attraction have not waivered. The question becomes once Delaney comes clean about what she hasn't disclosed, will Bennett be able to forgive her? Or will things be over between them for good?
I really liked how both Delaney and Bennett had been through a lot of things and when they came back together they had to figure out how to work through things together. The girls were adorable and I loved their relationship. This story also proved that life is messy and while it is, there are still ways to make it through and find your happily ever after!
